Volume weight is mainly reflected in the freight transportation link of logistics. When an item has a large volume but a light weight, its volume will be converted into weight for charging during transportation. The formula for calculating the volume weight of air freight goods is as follows:The volume of the goods (length (cm) × width (cm) × height (cm)) / 6000 = volume weight (kilograms). That is to say, goods with a volume of 6000 cubic centimeters are equivalent to 1 kilogram in weight for calculating the freight. In conversion, the freight for goods with a volume of 1 cubic meter should be calculated according to 167 kilograms.
